EMEA Impact Through Innovation Awards, Morgan Stanley. *Closing soon!*
This inaugural initiative invites EMEA-based charities in the regions where Morgan Stanley is present to submit innovative ideas to positively improve health, mental wellbeing or educational outcomes for children and young people. They are looking for new or piloted projects from charities that will provide innovative solutions to positively improve outcomes for children and young people. Projects must tackle specific issues and address unmet needs.
Geographies: Denmark, France, Germany, Hungary, Ireland, Israel, Italy, Netherlands, Poland, Qatar, Saudi Arabia, South Africa, Spain, Sweden, Switzerland, Turkey, United Arab Emirates, and United Kingdom.
Who can apply: Charities with registered charitable status based in the EMEA regions where Morgan Stanley is present.
Funding amount: Each award winner receives GBP £100,000 in seed funding. Up to ten winners are selected and a broader group of applicants are invited to join the expert-led Learning Series, to help improve their organizations’ strength, growth and impact.

Accepting applications from organizations that provide focused intervention in the lives of people who have been disadvantaged in some way to help them become self-reliant. The foundation takes a very broad view of “disadvantage” to include anything that holds a person back from realizing their potential, such as poverty, physical or mental disability, social alienation, etc. The foundation also supports relief agencies that serve people affected by emergencies such as natural disasters. They focus on funding smaller organizations all around the world that are led by individuals with a deep personal commitment to their missions.
Geographies: Applicants must operate in one of the following countries: India, the United States, Botswana, Kenya, Mexico, Mongolia, Rwanda, South Africa, or Thailand.
Who can apply: Non-profits.
Funding amount: Grants range USD $5,000 - $250,000 (for annual and multi-year funding) and at least 90% of grant monies reaches the intended beneficiaries.

Improving the use of water resources in Libya & Clean energy for sustainable access to basic services, Italian Agency for Development Cooperation. *New!* *Closing soon!*
The overall objectives of the water call is to improve the living conditions of the population of Libya, through a more efficient use of water resources, including: 1. Improve management and equitable access to safe drinking water supplies and adequate sanitation; 2. Increase water efficiency in the agricultural sector and reduce the number of people suffering from water scarcity and food insecurity; 3. Improved access to safe, equitable and clean drinking water; 4. Improved population access to health and sanitation services; 5. Strengthen the capacities of local authorities and the governance of water resources, including through decentralized and participatory management models; Improved water management in agriculture and adapted irrigation systems to optimize their overall efficiency, water productivity and resilience to water stress. The overall objectives of the energy call is to improve the living conditions of the Libyan population, including: 1. Promote access to health and education services for the Libyan population; 2. Increased energy supply at basic health and education facilities; 3. Strengthen technical energy skills; 4. Improved local capacities in health and education service delivery.

Supporting Civil Society Organizations as Actors of Development and Governance in The Pacific, European Commission (EC). *New!* *Closing this month!*
The global objective of this call for proposals is to empower civil society in the Pacific Island Countries (PICs) to engage as actors of governance and development by advancing human rights issues, influencing policy and decision making processes and holding the Government accountable for its performance towards citizens and society at large. The specific objectives of this call for proposals is strengthening CSOs’ capacities for project implementation, advocacy, policy analysis and monitoring of governmental programs in selected priority areas, while also promoting the development of partnerships, including with public authorities, and facilitating inclusion of CSOs in national and local decision-making. The priorities of this call include: 1. Supporting community adaptation and resilience to climate change; 2. Supporting economic empowerment fighting inequalities promoting gender balance, 3. Promoting democratic participation and accountability and supporting youth.

The “Integrated water catchment management and landscape protection in Zambia (AWARE 2.0)” project invites proposals from private-sector entities (companies and financial institutions) to work with the private sector through integrated Development Partnerships with the Private Sector (iDPP). They are accepting applications from private sector companies working in sustainable value chains or on eco-friendly innovations to co-create, pilot, and scale-up services, products and value chains that help to protect and restore ecosystems while creating jobs, income, and market access opportunities for local communities.

Who can apply: Private companies (registered and operating in Zambia) in sustainable value chains that can reduce pressure from ecosystems or create incentives for landscape restoration and protection (e.g. animal and plant based Non-Timber Forestry Products, bio charcoal, climate-smart, sustainable agriculture, livestock or aquaculture with a clear link to ecosystem restoration and protection). Nature based Solutions for Climate Mitigation, ASEAN-UK Green Transition Fund, UK Pact. *Closing soon!*
For this Call for Proposals, ASEAN-UK GTF seeks to award 3 work packages (WP): 1. Transboundary policy frameworks and platforms for collective action on Nbs. This work package is expected to support existing and future ASEAN work on transboundary issues –
paying special attention to the role of local traditional knowledge as a core element of landscape management. 2. Nbs models and monitoring. Financing for Nbs research and development. This work package is expected to support ASEAN in developing NbS model projects, practical monitoring tools, and funding support for research and development. Integrating evidence-based research and traditional knowledge is important, as well as a consideration for scalability across ASEAN member states. 3. Nature-positive financing and businesses. This work package is expected to accelerate investment in NbS across ASEAN from diverse funding sources. ASEAN and its Member States (AMS) have various public, private, and philanthropic funding that could potentially be managed in a more strategic way.

Investment Funds Investing in Coral Reef-Positive Businesses and Projects in the Pacific Small Island Developing States (SIDS), SDG Impact Finance Initiative. *New!* *Closing soon!*
This Call for Proposal seeks to identify an investment vehicle with a strong impact potential in line with GFCR’s objective, which can absorb Catalytic’s concessional capital to scale up their investment in coral reef-positive businesses in the Pacific SIDS. Catalytic aims to deploy junior capital into investment vehicles that invest in reef-positive businesses. By providing early-stage, de-risking capital, Catalytic aims to support regional actors to grow a reef-positive economy, addressing current bottlenecks in the flow of concessional finance to businesses. As a capital provider, Catalytic will make available concessional finance to for-profit and early-stage regional funds with portfolios consisting of businesses aligned with the GFCR sectors, coral reef resilience, and safeguards. The objective is to grow the financial ecosystem of actors that can develop reef-positive portfolios acting as financial intermediaries for global financial institutions.

Facilitating region-specific approaches to addressing climate and environment-related risks for socio-economic stability in Central Asia, European Union. *New!* *Closing soon!*
The Project aims to strengthen the capacity of local stakeholders to identify environment and climate-related risks for socioeconomic stability at the community levels, and to programme effective risk reduction and response measures. In particular, the Project aims to equip and empower local communities in the Ferghana Valley, covering Kyrgyzstan, Tajikistan and Uzbekistan, as well as to increase engagement with a wider range of stakeholders to scale up actions to address climate-related risks. The Project also aims to unite local communities in the target countries into regional networks of practitioners. Overall goals and activities to be implemented by the selected NGOs include:1. Facilitate and organize community planning sessions with target communities with a focus on nature-based solutions; 2. Based on the identified community adaptation solutions, develop Community Climate Change Adaptation Action Plan"; 3. Liaise with local authorities for the implementation of the developed CCCAAP and alignment with local plans, when possible; 4. Implement the selected locally led adaptation interventions, including procurement, implementation, and monitoring; 5. Apply UNEP's adapted methods and tools for participatory and inclusive climate risk assessment planning to local communities; 6. Participate actively in regional networks facilitated by SIC ICWC on climate change adaptation for the exchange of information and best practices in the Ferghana Valley.

Seeks to co-fund and co-resource alliances and collaborative programs designed to improve the impact of diet on obesity and non-communicable disease, reduce food-system-related environmental harms, or deal with the threats posed by food integrity and complex supply chains.
Geographies: Europe and all countries associated with the Horizon Europe program (see full list here).
Who can apply: All for profits and non-profit organizations welcome. A minimum of two organizations from two participating countries are needed for each application.
Funding amount: There is no specific minimum or maximum funding threshold, however annual program budgets are expected to be between €250,000-€750,000.

Seeking to support civil society organizations to reduce threats to globally important biodiversity in the Caribbean Islands Biodiversity Hotspot. Projects supported under this phase should help: 1. Transition to sustainable food systems through the scaling up of agroecological innovations in the Central African region (DeSIRA+), Enabel. *New!* *Closing this month!*
The general objective of this call for proposals is to contribute to the transition towards sustainable and resilient agricultural systems through the widespread adoption of agroecological practices adapted to local contexts. The specific objective is : Farmers have validated agroecological solutions, accompanied by technical, economic and institutional mechanisms, as well as the skills needed to enable them to be adopted and disseminated on a large scale. The expected results are as follows: 1. Innovative agroecological solutions, including cropping systems and practices, soil management and biodiversity management, are identified, tested and adapted to local conditions and producers’ needs; 2. The agroecological practices and systems identified undergo a rigorous assessment of their agroeconomic, environmental and social performance, including their resilience to climate change, in order to determine their potential for future scaling up; 3. On-the-ground technical, financial and/or organizational support for the agroecological transition, adapted to local contexts, is available to producers.

Who can apply: Public entities (universities, research centers, etc.), private not-for-profit entities (international or national non-governmental organization, ASBL, foundation, etc.), legal entities governed by private law whose primary objective is not to maximize profit, and profit-making legal entities are eligible if they meet certain criteria.

Funding Research for a Resilient Future, Lloyd’s of London Foundation. *Closing this month!*
Seeking proposals from researchers and organizations dedicated to advancing the understanding of risk and future recover for innovative research in risk management or climate adaptation. They aim to support research in: 1. Risk understanding and management for specific communities, and the greater good of society both in the UK and globally, which are aligned to UN Sustainable Development Goals. 2. Climate adaptation and mitigation, an issue that has real synergy with risk-related research. Areas of research could include current and future climate and related humanitarian risks arising from a variety of trends, such as fire, flood, drought, changes to weather patterns and other natural disasters, both the UK and globally.

Circular Economy Demonstration Fund, Department of Science, Technology and Innovation- South Africa. *New!* *Closing this month!*
South Africa’s Circular Economy Demonstration Fund aims to support the adoption of proven circular interventions or innovative process improvements, that have yet to be widely deployed in South Africa. The demonstration of which will assist in fast-tracking the uptake of these circular economy interventions in the private sector and contribute to South Africa’s transition to a more circular economy. The intention of the fund is to partner private sector organizations (e.g., business, industry) with research institutions, to support the private sector organization in de-risking, scaling, localizing, or demonstrating a circular intervention (i.e., a circular technological, social or business innovation). The Circular Economy Demonstration Fund aims to directly support projects aligned with one or more of the circular economy principles; eliminate waste and pollution, keep products and materials in use at their highest value, and regenerate natural systems. Applicants may consider demonstration projects in any of the following industries agriculture, human settlements, manufacturing, mining, mobility, and cross-cutting interventions in energy and water.

Who can apply: Lead applicant must be researchers employed by South African Universities, Science Councils and other public research institutions, working in relevant disciplines. Researchers can partner with additional local and international organization such as non-profits, private sector, CSO’s, etc.

Fund for Local Cooperation (FLC): Call for Circular Economy Project Proposals, Embassy of Finland in Nairobi. *New!* *Closing this month!*
Through this Call for Proposals, the Embassy seeks to support two distinct but complimentary themes with one project grant each: 1. Strengthening SME Capacity for Circular Economy Transition- focuses on accelerating the transition to a circular economy by strengthening the capacity of Kenyan SMEs across sectors to integrate circular practices into their operations. The aim is to promote more sustainable business models that generate entrepreneurship and employment opportunities, particularly for young people. 2. Raising Public Awareness on Circular Economy and Climate-Smart Solutions for Community-Based Business and Job Creation- invite proposals that present new and effective ways of engaging communities, stakeholders, and the public at large in adopting circular and sustainable practices.

Protecting Our Places 2025, Department of Climate Change, Energy, the Environment and Water. *New!* *Closing this month!*
The Protecting Our Places program encourages and empowers Aboriginal communities to protect, conserve and restore landscapes and waterways important to them. The program has 3 key objectives: 1. Enabling Aboriginal communities to gain more autonomy over their projects, strengthening their ability to deliver favourable results for their cultural heritage, cultural practices and the environment; 2. Promoting the sharing and safeguarding of cultural knowledge among Aboriginal groups, government agencies and the community. This enables Aboriginal people to influence the management and preservation of their cultural and environmental resources on their ancestral lands; 3. Ensuring land that is culturally important to Aboriginal communities is protected, restored, improved and managed by local Aboriginal groups, land managers and other stakeholders in a way that fosters Healthy Country. This approach deepens the connection between Aboriginal people and their traditional lands and waterways.

Created in 1998, the International Awards L'Oréal-UNESCO For Women in Science honors 5 eminent women scientists from 5 regions of the world. These exceptional researchers are rewarded for their important contributions to the progress of science, either in Life sciences or in the fields of Physical sciences, Mathematics and Computer science. The 2026 edition of the Awards will designate five outstanding scientific researchers working in the following regions: Africa and the Arab States, Asia and the Pacific, Europe, Latin America and the Caribbean, and North America. One candidate will be selected for each of the five regions, the determining factor being the place of work for at least 10 years, not the nationality of the candidate.

Seeking proposals from UK charities working to help improve the mental health of women aged 16-25 in the UK. The grants go to organizations that increase young women’s access to high quality, age and gender specific mental health services. They particularly welcome applications from organizations leading the way in good practice or innovation relating to age and gender informed approaches to mental health provision. They will prioritize those that work collaboratively with partners to extend their impact and share expertise, and that champion fair and equal access to mental health services.

The UN Women’s ‘Dare to Care’ regional program seeks to partner with a Civil Society Organization to collaborate with religious institutions in the Arab States, promoting gender equality through dialogues, capacity building, and knowledge production. The focus is on engaging Sunni Muslim actors and fostering inter-faith dialogues. The Implementing Partner will work under UN Women’s guidance to create partnerships that promote men’s involvement in unpaid care and women’s economic empowerment. The selected Implementing Partner will develop a regional manual for religious actors and institutions to promote gender equality and women’s empowerment, with a focus on promoting the involvement of men and boys in unpaid care and domestic work, and women’s participation in paid employment. The Implementing Partner will work closely with UN Women Regional Office for the Arab States, UN Women’s Country Offices of the four target countries, and the implementing partners recruited at country level by UN Women in these four countries to undertake capacity building and Training of Trainers for selected religious actors in Tunisia, Egypt, Morocco, and Jordan to roll out the manual (around 6 – 8 individuals per country).

This Grand Challenge on Randomized Controlled Trial on Sexually Transmitted Infections (STIs) and Reproductive Tract Sequelae in Non-Pregnant Women aims to fill critical gaps in understanding of the risk of PID and related sequelae attributable to STIs and to evaluate the impact of etiologic STI screening and treatment on morbidity. With this Grand Challenge we welcome letters of intent (LOIs) from organizations to conduct a randomized controlled trial (RCT) in sub-Saharan Africa comparing STI screening and standard of care syndromic management. The primary outcome of this study should be PID, with secondary outcomes possibly including chronic pelvic pain, ectopic pregnancy, and infertility. The study should provide insight into the risk of outcomes following infection with gonorrhea, chlamydia, and/or trichomoniasis and the impact and cost-effectiveness of etiologic screening to prevent morbidity.
